With 2000 Trees Festival 2024 just around the corner, here’s some of the bands that you shouldn’t miss at this year’s festival!

KITE THIEF – THE WORD, WEDNESDAY

Bristol quintet Kite Thief open this year’s festival with their set on The Word Stage featuring their own brand of sweet, yet gritty alt rock. Taking inspiration from fellow artists such as Vukovi and Spiritbox, their high-voltage set will be one that you must not miss if you have early entry.

DREAM STATE – FOREST, WEDNESDAY

Welsh post-hardcore band Dream State are firm favourites at 2000 Trees, and the Cave Stage tent was full to bursting when they played there last year. The Forest will be a truly magical place to witness their emotional set on Wednesday.

CHERYM – MAIN STAGE, THURSDAY

Cherym released their debut album Take It or Leave It to critical acclaim in February, and 2024 is already on track to be the Derry indie trio’s year. Their queer, 90’s inspired women-power anthems are perfect for a sunny afternoon on the Main Stage.

DEATH LENS – THE AXIOM, THURSDAY

LA’s Death Lens look set to be a highlight in The Axiom on Thursday, as they bring their brawny, post-hardcore tinged punk to the Cotswolds. There are sure to be drunken, sweat-drenched singalongs as the band perform and cover raw topics including social injustice, politics and civil unrest.

TROPIC GOLD – THE AXIOM, FRIDAY

Alt metal band Tropic Gold are a melting pot of ideas and genres, mixing everything from heavy rock, to ethereal soundscapes and pop harmonies. Despite these contrasting ideas, the band want to create a sense of unity with their audiences, and we’ll be sure to experience this in the Axiom.

FANGS OUT – THE CAVE, FRIDAY

West Midlands based hardcore band, Fangs Out, make their debut on Friday and despite the early start, look set to blow the roof off the Cave with their explosive performance! The quartet released their latest EP, The Humour In Hell, in 2023 and have already shared stages with the likes of The Blackout, Dead Pony and The Bled

HOLY WARS – NEU STAGE, SATURDAY

Holy Wars have an EP called Cult Classic, but LA alt rock band could well become a cult classic too following their performance on the Neu Stage. The duo offer beautifully crafted dark and fierce rock music, which is unapologetic in every way.

LONELY THE BRAVE – THE CAVE, SATURDAY

If you are looking for a set that is packed full of anthemic singalong rock, then step right this way. For fans that have attended 2000 Trees previously, Lonely The Brave are familiar faces; but just like a good chat with a friend and a hug, they are the perfect balance of melodic feel-good to nudge you out of any dark corners and smile.
