How did you meet and what’s the story behind your band name?
Matt Dryden recruited Matt Porter (a high school friend) early on and Corey replied to an ad we posted in a local music shop. The name is influenced by the packs of feral dogs Matt Dryden encountered near his home, growing up in Spain.
How would you describe your music?
Our music is a blend of ambiance and catchy melodies, delivered by optimistic sounding guitar based music.
What have you been up to so far and what can we expect over the coming months?
We have recorded two tracks, Somersault and White Gold. We’ve been booked to appear live in BBC Introducing on 16th March to play a couple of tracks acoustically and be interviewed. We’re looking to work on and release an EP as soon as possible.
If you could duet with anybody who would it be and why?
To duet with Bjork would be incredible, but more recently, Rae Morris would be amazing. Her voice is superb.
What’s your desert island disc and why would you take this one album?
It would have to be Grace, by Jeff Buckley. The album has so many moods and can fit any occasion.
