When did you begin making music, and did you ever ponder a different career?
When I was a little girl I envisioned myself singing on a huge stage for thousands of people! I’ve always wanted to be a singer and have taken piano and vocal lessons since I was a kid. I also thought about being a teacher or a doctor but only as a ‘back up’ plan.
How would you describe your music?
My music is pop in the truest sense of the word: it’s fun, upbeat, relatable, and really catchy. Most of it is really danceable too!
What have you been up to so far and what can we expect over the coming months?
I have been busy recording some new music. You can expect some shows in the USA and I can’t wait to start touring across the UK and Europe, which will hopefully happen this year *fingers crossed*.
If you could duet with anybody who would it be and why?
Justin Timberlake because he is GREAT! He is very talented. As well as Beyonce – she is my role model.
What’s your desert island disc and why would you take this one album?
JT The 20/20 Experience – this is an amazing album which definitely deserves a couple of Grammys. If I could take two, I would also choose Emeli Sande’s Our Version of Events – she has the voice of an angel.
