Triangle

How did you meet and what’s the story behind your band name?

Me (Richard) and Viktor first met through fighting in the schoolyard. I was making fun of his name “Kivi”.
It was so fruity, I couldn’t resist.

The following weeks we discovered that we often wore the same band t-shirts so we began to talk in a more sophisticated way about music.

Eventually we decided to start a band.

Regarding the band name we just thought it’d be nice to have a girls name in there, and a little bit of french can never go wrong.

Other than that it came out of the blue.

How would you describe your music?

I think our music is best described as big and intense pop.

It’ll make you cry and dance at the same time.

What have you been up to so far and what can we expect over the coming months?

Lately we’ve been busy recording and producing songs for our upcoming EP. We’re really excited about the response we’ve gotten this far. Our first single ”Rain” is out now and we can’t wait to release the full EP in May.

The focus right now is to reach as many as possible through our music.

If you could duet with anybody who would it be and why?

We would like to do a duet with Annie Lennox. Simply ’cause she’s awesome and personally I have many memories of my mom playing a lot of Eurythmics and her solo stuff too. Her voice is like a soundtrack of my childhood.

What’s your desert island disc and why would you take this one album?

I think we have to give four separate answers here.
Richard Henry – Purple Rain by Prince
It’s sheer pop perfection.

Viktor Kivi – Achtung Baby by U2
It’s the best album in the world.

MK – Bon Iver by Bon Iver
I had the best moment of my life at a Bon Iver concert.

Victor Hillström – In Rainbows by Radiohead
I will never get tired listening to that album.
