When did you begin making music, and did you ever ponder a different career?
I can’t even remember when I began making music, I’ve been singing my whole life I guess. But there was this one moment when we had a singing show in our primary school and everyone was like „wow, you CAN sing, girl“. That’s when I realised “Hey, I am good at something and I like it so much“. From then on it has been clear that I wanted to become a singer. I didn’t get that much support from home, that’s why I
went to university studying something else. But I always knew that only music and singing would make me really happy and satisfied, so I never stopped singing and I’ve always had my dream of becoming a singer and have been working on my voice, my songwriting skills and my sound for many many years now.
How would you describe your music?
I am a self-confident, strong and positive person and I always try to send the message of “never give up, be happy and strong, fight for your dreams, rock your life, be you, be confident“ through my songs and my music. So basically there are always positive vibes but also ironic elements in my music.
What have you been up to so far and what can we expect over the coming months?
I spent the last two years writing a loooot of songs and working on my concept and finding my sound. Now 2 songs are out there already and currently I am working on my next single, which is about to be released in autumn. We are also working on an album.
If you could duet with anybody who would it be and why?
I really woud love to duet with Jessie J. She is amazing and I think we have a similar sense of humour and it would be great fun I guess.
What’s your desert island disc and why would you take this one album?
Definitely something I can dance to. I think living on a desert island can be quite boring, so dancing to great music would sex up“ my desert-island life a bit. Maybe the the album by DNCE (called DNCE).
