Fast Five: Stooshe

When did you begin making music, and did you ever ponder a different career?

C – I went to theatre school from an early age, so was into performing & singing, though never thought I’d be doing this! Being the baby, I had just finished school when I joined, so was unsure of what I was going to do!

How would you describe your music?

A – Newtown… motown with a new school twist.

What have you been up to so far and what can we expect the following months?

K – We’ve been constantly gigging; seeing as it’s festival season, we’ve been all over the country. And next we have another single, hopefully then the album, plus our headline show at Bush Hall on the 19th September.

If you could duet with anyone, who would it be?

A – We’d have loved to have dueted with Amy Winehouse, but anyone who is willing to have fun with a tongue-in-cheek attitude.

What’s your desert island disc and why would you take this one album?

C – I think an old school Supremes album. I’d take it because the Supremes were amazing, their harmonies, everything.
