Having already gained a dedicated fan-base here in the UK and at home in the US, San Francisco’s Transfer have already evolved past the point of upcoming. Brought together by a mutual friend and bonding over a shared love of music gave birth to this exciting new band, fresh from their slot at London’s Hard Rock Calling at Hyde Park alongside The Killers.

Transfer are set to release their debut single Losing Composure here in the UK on 25th July, followed by their debut album, Future Selves in September 2011. The band are scheduled to play Glasgow’s famous intimate venue, King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut next week, and have landed a coveted slot at Balado’s T In The Park on Sunday 10th July 2011.

Transfer have already made quite an impact Stateside through the release of EPs, two studio albums, and a mammoth touring schedule that stretched throughout 2006/2007.
However, things are buzzing in Britain over them after they supported Brandon Flowers on his solo tour in late 2010, and have already earned a special place in the hearts of “The Victims” (The Killer’s legion of fans).

Described by Q Magazine as, “Anthemic Rockers with twisted pop hooks, and heart-crushed anthems on tap”, Transfer are undoubtedly ones to watch, and a definite to catch live.
