Cory Monteith, the actor and singer from hit television show Glee was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room. The policesay his death is not being treated as suspicious. Monteith had recently spent time in rehab battling a substance addiction.
Daft Punk have released their own brand of condoms called ‘Get Lucky’. Daft Punk are not the only music group to endorse safe sex; JLS have previously released their own brand of protection.
Junior Bradshaw, the man charged with the attempted murder of singer Joss Stone has received a sentence of 18 years.
Morrissey has won the court case against chef Gordon Ramsey; Ramsey’s TV programme used one of Morrissey’s songs without obtaining the rights to it. Morrissey has donated the £10,000 claim to an animal rights charity.

This week saw Lauryn Hill enter prison to serve her three month sentence due to tax evasion. She will be serving her time in a prison in Danbury, Connecticut.
Adam Lambert has announced that he will be joining the cast of Glee. He will feature in the shows fifth season.
Country singer Randy Travis was admitted to hospital this week and has had to undergo an emergency brain surgery. The singer suffered a stroke whilst being treated for heart failure and a viral infection.
Sky Ferreira fans will be disappointed if they thought they were getting an album this year. It has been announced that her debut album release will now take place in April 2014.
Arcade Fire’s new album will be available from October 29th. This will be the first album release from Arcade Fire since their 2010 release The Suburbs.

Lady Gaga has announced details of her new album ARTPOP. The album will be released in November and will be released in conjunction with an APP for smartphones. Intrigued? So are we.
