Killers Walk Off Stage Mid Set

The Killers had to cancel their Manchester gig mid set on Tuesday, 13th November due to frontman Brandon Flowers having a sore throat. The band issued this statement regarding the incident:

‘Manchester, we started something we couldn’t finish and we’re so, so sorry. Working on rescheduling tonight and tomorrow’s shows. Will let you know new dates ASAP’

The shows that have been affected (November 13th and 14th) have been rescheduled for February 17th and 18th 2013.

Somewhat ironically, the same day that the band had to walk out mid set they had also announced an extra live Wembley date for 22nd June 2013. Tickets are available via www.gigandtours.com.

X Factor News

Jahmene Douglas – the least controversial X Factor contestant – has caused drama this week. The singer has refused to sing the group song due to the connotations of alcoholism in it. Douglas doesn’t drink alcohol and refused to promote a track about drinking. The song was intended to be Katy Perry’s Last Friday Night.

In other X Factor news there have been ructions backstage between Rylan and Christopher who are just not getting along. They are now refusing to share the same dressing room. Dramarama.

And again in more X Factor news, the programmes winner is bowing out of the week long race for Christmas number one. The show is finishing a week earlier than scheduled. The show presumably has had to finish a week earlier due to Lucy Spraggen’s untimely departure from the line up due to health issues. The race for Christmas number one is wide open.

Previous X Factor contestant Janet Devlin has started a PledgeMusic campaign to help with the release of her debut album. Fans can get involved by visiting www.pledgemusic.com.
