Alex Turner joined Miles Kane on stage during his set at Glastonbury. They performed Standing Next To Me, a song that they released together under the umbrella band of The Last Shadow Puppets. Kane revealed last week that he and Turner will record music together again.
Kylie Minogue has received the JC Williams award for her work in entertainment. Well done Kylie.
Yoko Ono is set to release a new album in September. The album will be called Take Me to the Land of Hell and will be available September 17th.
New Order will release a new EP this year. As of yet it has been unnamed but we are excited.
Body/Head, the band fronted by Kim Gordon are set to release their debut album Coming Apart. The album will be available from September 10th.
Bloc Party have announced details of a new EP called Nextwave Sessions. It will be released in August.
TLC have replaced Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopez on the rerecording of their 90s single Waterfalls. They have enlisted the vocals of Namie Amuro to cover the parts sung by Lopez who died in 2002.
Alan Myers, the former drummer with Devo has lost his battle with cancer. Our thoughts go out to his family.

Brand New have issued a statement to let fans know that they have cancelled their European tour dates which include two festival dates – Reading and Leeds. They have sighted personal issues as the reason for the cancellation and offer their apologies.
