Bruno Mars Cocaine Case Closed

The Bruno Mars cocaine case has now been closed. The Marry You singer has stayed out of trouble as stipulated in his plea deal. Mars has also paid a sum of $2,000 and performed 200 hours of community service along with the other conditions set.

Katy Perry Signs To Sims

Katy Perry has agreed to allow her likeness to be the star of Sims. She will feature in The Sims 3 Showtime.

LL Cool J To Host Grammys

It has been announced that rapper and actor LL Cool J will host the 2012 Grammys. This years’ show will see performances from Foo Fighter and Bruno Mars.

New Ramones Book

A biography of the late Johnny Ramone is set to be released. The guitarist in one of the most influential punk bands started writing the book when he became ill with prostate cancer. It has been eight years since the Johnny Ramone (real name John Cummings) died and currently only one member of the original line up survives.

Sinead O’Connor Enters Hospital

Troubled singer Sinead O’Connor has entered hospital to help her deal with depression. The Irish singer has been making headlines recently with her on again/off again marriage.

Tribute To Amy

Details of a concert have been announced to honour the late Amy Winehouse. The proceeds of the concert will go the The Amy Winehouse Foundation, the charity set up by her father Mitch after her death. It has been rumoured that both Lily Allen and Jessie J have already signed up to perform.

Honour for Don McLean

Don McLean and the Dubliners have won a lifetime achievement awards. BBC2 Folk Radio honoured the Irish band due to over 50 years playing traditional and recognisable Irish music. Don McLean is most famous for his hit song American Pie.
