The 2011 Christmas number one was announced on the official chart yesterday. The single Wherever You Are released by the Military Wives and Gareth Malone reached the coveted number one spot.
2011s Oxegen Festival has been called off. No information has been given as to why however the festival is said to return in 2013.
Paul McCartney is set to release a standards album. The collection of songs will feature McCartney performing with other musicians.
McFly have posed nude. The band are no strangers to stripping and have featured naked in some of their music videos. The latest reason for shedding their clothes came about due to a bargain the band made with fans to make Harry Judd – the bands drummer – the winner of the reality television talent show. Having had to cancel his tour due to contracting pneumonia, George Michael has been released from hospital to spend the holidays at home.
Bjork’s Biophilia App has been named one of the top apps of the year by Apple. It has been an impressive year for the Icelandic singer who pushed the boundaries on musicianship and art to include modern day technology.
