What do Justin Bieber and Tom Waits have in common. Mast people would shudder at the thought of them being anything alike. Alas both Waits and Bieber have received a special honour and have joined the likes of KISS and The Ramones. Both are being immortalised as Simpson’s characters and will feature in the show.

Zayn Malik of One Direction has left twitter due to abuse he has received from other ‘Tweeps’ on the social networking site. Reports that accuse Zayn of cheating girlfriend are being cited as the cause for the closing down of the account.

Mark Chapman Denied Parole

After applying for the seventh time, Mark Chapman – the man who killed John Lennon – has been refused parole. Chapman was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment and has currently served over 30. ZZ Top will be releasing a new album. It will be the first release in nine years. New album La Futura will be available from September 10th. Mika’s new album The Origin of Love will be released October 8th. All the Fires have announced that the release of their debut album Territories will take place on October 8th.

Creamfields Closes

The Cheshire based dance festival Creamfields had to close down after only one day. The two day festival has shut down due to severe weather conditions which left the campsite flooded.
