Members of the Rolling Stones are causing trouble ahead of their Glastonbury headliner set. The whole festival is due to be televised this year however the Rolling Stones have said no to having their set shown. They have reportedly compromised by allowing four songs to be shown by the BBC coverage.

Tim Lambesis has been released from jail after posting $20 million bail. The singer is currently being accused of hiring a hit man to kill his wife.

Album News

No Age have announced details of their new album. An Object will be released 19th August 2013 and is the follow up to their debut, Everything In Between which was released in 2010.

RHCP have plans to go to the recording studio in September. It has been two years since the band last released an album, the 2011 record I’m With You.

Billy Idol is set to record a new album. He will be releasing a biography also.

The Horrors have confirmed that they have nearly finished their new album. As of yet no release date has been given.

Manic Street Preachers have two new albums ready for the off, one of which is an acoustic album.

Miles Kane has revealed that he thinks that The Last Shadow Puppets will make another album.

Damon Albarn has announced details to release a solo album; it has also been revealed that Blur will release a new album.

Free Bon Jovi Gig in Spain

Bon Jovi held a free gig in Spain this week. Reports have said that they played the free concert to help Spain’s failing economy.

Barry Gibb was honoured with a lifetime achievement award this week by Silver Clefs.

300 people created a world record this week by re-enacting the iconic 70s music video for Wuthering Heights.

Clarence Burke Jr: 1949 – 2013

Clarence Burke Jr has passed away. The Five Stairsteps singer died at his home in Marietta. The cause of his death has yet to be released.
