Forget You Singer Denies Charges

Cee Lo Green has been accused of sexual assault. The claimant has stated that Green laced her food with MDMA during a night out. Green has denied the charges.

Meek Mills Arrested

MC Meek Mills was arrested this week. No details have been given as to what the arrest was in relation. The arrest took place before the MC’s album launch party.

Album News

Paramore have finished recording their album. Their new album will be released next year and will be the band’s first LP since 2009.

Sleigh Bells new album is due to be released in 2013. The band is currently touring their previous album.

Ian Skelly, the drummer with The Coral has announced details of a solo album. The album Cut From A Star will be released in December.

Jimmy Page is remastering Led Zeppelin albums for a box set which should be released early next year.

Green Day Cancel Shows

Green Day have had to cancel the remaining dates of their tour due lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong’s current battle with addiction. The following two LP releases of their trilogy Uno Dos Tres will be released in November and December.

Bon Jovi Fight Money Grabbing Moguls

Bon Jovi has announced that there will be dates on their upcoming tour that will not suffer from inflated ticket pricing. They are selling tickets for a diminutive price of £12.50. Kudos has got to be given to Bon Jovi as the cost of gig going has increased exponentially over the past few years. However the ticket prices do range from £12.50 to £125.

Alt-J Takes Mercury Prize

This year’s Mercury Prize award went to Alt-J. They beat other contenders Michael Kiwanuka and Plan B among others for the coveted prize.

Mitch Lucker October 20, 1984 – November 1, 2012

The Suicide Silence frontman Mitch Lucker has died in a fatal motorcycle accident. The singer crashed his Harley Davidson motorbike in Huntington Beach. His fellow band members tweeted the news of his death saying “There’s no easy way to say this. RIP Mitchell Adam Lucker – We Love You Brother.” And “Words cannot even describe the amount of love expressed at tonight’s candlelight vigil. It was truly incredible.”
