Phil Everly: 1940 – 2014

Phil Everly, one half of the fraternal 60s group The Everly Brothers has died. He was 74. The singer had not been well for some time; he died of chronic obstruction pulmonary disease.

Ben Curtis: 1978 – 2013

School of Seven Bells guitarist Ben Curtis has lost his battle with T Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. He was 35.

Album News

Rhiannon is currently working on her eighth studio album. The album does not have a title as yet but it is rumoured that DJMustard will be featured on the album in a production capacity.

Jack White has nearly finished his new album. The self produced album should be completely finished in two months time.

Oscar Nod for Pussy Riot

The Mike Lerner directed documentary ‘Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer’ has, according to rumour, received a nomination from the Oscar Committee. Te awards will take place on March 2nd 2013.

Ke$ha and Matt Cardle Head to Rehab

It’s been a bad week for Ke$ha who has admitted herself into rehab to tackle her eating disorder. The month long treatment will take place in a facility treatment will take place in a facility located in Chicago.

Meanwhile, X Factor winner Matt Cardle has also sought medical treatment for his dependency on temazepam and valium.
