21 year old acoustic songwriter Benjamin Francis Leftwich has burst onto this year’s music scene following a word of mouth buzz that has evolved into substantial mainstream coverage. Benjamin’s first two EPs gained critical acclaim which led to his single Pictures gaining serious airtime on major radio stations. Following the success of his early songs, Benjamin is set to release his official debut single Box Of Stones, on June 5th, which has been playlisted on Radio 1 and has gained the support of DJs such as Zane Lowe, who chose Benjamin to support Fleet Foxes in session.

Combining honest lyrics with delicate acoustics, Benjamin’s music may be subtle but it is also extremely powerful. Acoustic guitar music might not appeal to everyone, but Benjamin has proved that he has the rare ability to capture you in the moment through his poetic lyrics and delicate guitar strumming. His tender vocals are tinged with honesty that easily gains your trust and provides escapism as he captivates your thoughts to momentarily take you away from the here and now.

After a successful tour supporting Noah and the Whale, Benjamin has announced a headline UK tour in June, as well as confirming many major festivals including Bestival and Glastonbury. His debut album, Last Smoke Before The Snow Storm, is due to be released June 20th.
